On the morning of Tuesday, April 15th, 2025, Prophet Alex Armstrong delivered a stirring message that gripped the hearts of all in attendance and echoed far beyond the walls of the sanctuary:
“Never seek anything other than the approval of God.”
With quiet authority, Prophet Armstrong opened his Bible and began with Galatians 1:10:
“Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God?Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Chris.”
He reminded the congregation that the pursuit of human praise is not only exhausting—it’s spiritually dangerous. “If your purpose is rooted in people’s opinions,” he warned, “your identity will crumble when they turn their backs. But when your heart is anchored in God’s approval, you will remain steady in every storm.”
The prophet went on to emphasize that every believer will face moments of decision: Do I speak truth and risk being rejected, or do I compromise for applause? That, he said, is where spiritual maturity is tested.
He referenced John 12:43:
“Fort hey loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.”
“Even Jesus, full of truth and love, was rejected by the very people He came to save,” Prophet Armstrong said. “So why do we think we will always be accepted when we walk in truth? Rejection from men is often a sign that you’re approved by heaven.”
With passion and prophetic insight, he challenged every believer to examine their motives:
“Who are you performing for—God, or the crowd? What drives your decisions—obedience, or applause?”
The atmosphere grew still as the prophet declared:
“If you chase people’s approval, you’ll always be running. But if you seek God’s approval, you’ll find peace, power, and purpose.”
He concluded with the words of Matthew 25:21:
“Well done, good and faithful servant…”
“That,” he said, “is the only approval that will matter when we stand before the throne of God.”
The message ended in a powerful time of prayer, as many rededicated themselves to living for an audience of One.
