The light rain couldn’t stop the fire of evangelism on Saturday, 14th June, 2025. The rain was falling gently as we hit the streets of China Town at 3pm not enough to dampen spirits, just enough to make the moment memorable. something unexpected transformed our city’s ordinary streets into a moving celebration of faith. The “Until One Day” float procession began in China Town, where the first bold notes from a brass band signaled this wasn’t going to be just another afternoon.
Rev. Mrs.Eurica Edem Armstrong joined Prophet Alex Armstrong at the front as we set off toward Barrier. With the brass band leading and speakers filling the streets with praise songs behind the crowd, our procession became a moving worship experience. People danced in the rain, shopkeepers came to their doorways, and our team handed out flyers inviting everyone to the main event coming June 17th-20th at Mercy Temple.
Prophet Alex Armstrong and Rev. Mrs. Eurica Edem Armstrong moved through the crowd with purpose not just leading, but personally handing out flyers and sharing the gospel with anyone who would listen. The music from our speakers provided the soundtrack as our members paired every flyer with a personal word of hope, turning each handout into a divine appointment.
The rain kept time like a second rhythm section as we made our way back to the church. Prophet Alex Armstrong walked among the crowd, his quiet smile saying what words didn’t need to. Sometimes worship doesn’t need a pulpit – just willing voices, open hearts, and the courage to take your praise public.
Mark your calendars – this was just the appetizer. The main “Until One Day” gathering serves up four days of encounter starting June 17th. If the rainy celebration was this joyful, imagine what’s coming inside those church walls.
The gospel sounds sweetest when it leaves the building – especially when carried by joyful believers unafraid to share their faith in the rain.
