The General Overseer of Potter’s family Chapel, Prophet Alex Armstrong, has revealed that God’s intention is for all believers to walk in the demonstration of His power.
He asserts that this empowerment is available to everyone who believes, not just those in position of authority. He made this statement during a sermon he delivered on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at Potter’s family Chapel (PFC)-Mercy Temple, Sampah Valley.
Prophet Alex Armstrong highlighted that the kingdom of God is one of power, and walking in this power is crucial for the success of the ‘Possessing the Nations” agenda.
He referenced Acts 8:6-7, noting that the early church attracted attention through both their words and demonstration of God’s power.
He cited Acts 17:6-7, illustrating how early Christians turned the world upside down by manifesting this power. The promise of this power, as stated in Acts 2:39 is for everyone, he hinted.
He stressed that bring close to God is essential for demonstrating His power. Quoting Mark 3:13-15, he pointed out that the ability to preach and cast out demons is conditioned upon being with the lord. He urged believers to walk with Jesus daily as exemplified in Acts 4:13. Where the apostles’ boldness was attributed to theirclose relationship with Christ.
Prophet Alex Armstrong emphasized that sacrifices are necessary to experience God’s power. He referenced Hebrews 11:26-27, highlighting Moses’ willingness to forsake earthly titles and positions and Daniel 1:8 , where Daniel chose to avoid defilement.
“Until we get to the point where we are ready to make sacrifices unto the lord, we are not ready to see His power at work in us”. He stated
The General Overseer encouraged believers to cultivate a constant and close fellowship with God and to make the necessary sacrifices to unleash His power in their lives. He assured that everyone who stands with the lord will find the lord standing with them.

The church’s General Overseer, Prophet Alex Armstrong made the call on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, when he announced the three day fasting and prayers towards the end of the month all-night. This service brought together influential members of Potter’s family Chapel including pastors and leaders of PFC.
Addressing the service, Prophet Armstrong emphasized continuous prayer as a fundamental aspect of the church’s spiritual life. He urged the members and leaders to engage in daily and heartfelt prayers.
When we don’t pray as leaders, we kill the spirit of the church, and we eventually lose members. He stated
Prophet Armstrong pointed out that prayer should not be seen as an occasional activity or a mere duty but as an essential ongoing practice that strengthens the believer’s relationship with God. He underscored the importance of prayer stressing that, “prayer is a daily necessity, the air we breathe. It’s a vital human need that provokes grace, opens the heavens, and brings the refilling of the Holy Spirit.” He further explained that prayer is foundational to the life of every Potter’s family Chapel member, activating spiritual power, releasing divine glory, and breaking down barriers such as addictions and limitations.
He reminded the leadership of the church of their responsibility to model continuous prayer and also calling on them to inspire and guide their congregations in embracing in the theme wholeheartedly. The General overseer indicated that as the church embarks on a journey of the three days fast, it serves as a call and commitment for PFC members to deepen their prayer lives and prepare for a year of renewed spiritual vitality and breakthrough.
The theme was chosen after extensive and consultation aimed at fostering a culture of constant prayer throughout Potter’s family Chapel congregation in Ghana. To achieve this aims, the theme focuses on four key areas: Prayer for Churches – by strengthening the foundation of all Potter’s family Chapel churches through dedicated and constant prayer, Fasting and prayer- through the institution of regular periods of fasting and prayer to deepen spiritual sacrifices commitment.
The rest are prayers for the harvest of souls by interceding for a revival and salvation of new souls and prayers for supernatural manifestations by seeking God’s presence and power to work miraculous signs and wonders.

Potter’s Family Chapel recently held its annual church programme, ‘Until One Day.’ The three-day event, held from 19th to 21st June, 2024, featured a wide array of activities, culminating in the dedication of the new Mercy Temple auditorium.
The festivities began with a vibrant church float, from Sampah Valley through Weija and the surrounding areas, bringing the community together in celebration. The programme featured inspiring ministrations from celebrated gospel artistes such as Efe Grace, Philip Adzale, and Celestine Donkor, whose performances deeply moved the people at the auditorium.
Prominent guest pastors, including Rev. Anthony Cudjoe and Archbishop Charles Agyinasare, graced the event, providing powerful messages and spiritual guidance. Host pastor, Prophet Alex Armstrong played a pivotal role in steering the programme’s activities, and all who attended testified of the glorious presence of God that was felt each night.
The highlight of the event was the dedication of the Potter’s Family Chapel Mercy Temple auditorium on Sunday, 23rd June, 2024.
