YOU’RE IN CHURCH… BUT IS THE CHURCH IN YOU?
1. YOUR PRESENCE SHAPES THE ATMOSPHERE MORE THAN THE PASTOR’S SERMON
Most members think the power of a service lies in the preacher’s anointing (but the atmosphere of the church is collectively created by the hearts of the people sitting there.
If you come heavy with bitterness, distraction, or criticism, you alter the flow of the Spirit without even speaking. The preacher may be the mouth, but the congregation is the womb ( it either conceives what’s preached or rejects it.
The sermon is sound, but your spirit is the speaker’s echo.
2. SITTING IN CHURCH DOESN’T MEAN HEAVEN IS SITTING IN YOU
Church attendance is not divine residence. Many people sit under the cloud of glory but never allow the glory to sit within them.
You can be present where God moves and still be spiritually absent.
If the Word doesn’t move from the pulpit to your heart, you’ve only attended an event, not an encounter.
3. YOU’RE NOT A SPECTATOR (YOU’RE A PRIEST IN A BODY OF PRIESTS
Too many Christians think they “go to church.” But biblically, you are the church (a priest carrying holy fire into every environment.
When you come to church, you’re not a consumer; you’re a contributor to the divine flow.
When you understand your priesthood, you stop waiting for revival (you start carrying it.
4. OFFENCE IS SATAN’S SHORTCUT TO MAKE YOU SPIRITUALLY UNUSABLE
Nothing silences a believer’s destiny faster than offence in the house of God.
Satan doesn’t need to make you sin to stop you ( he just needs to make you offended. Once your heart closes, revelation stops flowing.
The devil doesn’t attack your faith directly ( he poisons your heart indirectly.
5. EVERY CHURCH MEMBER CARRIES THE REPUTATION OF HEAVEN
When you walk out of church, you become the sermon people remember.
How you talk, serve, forgive, and live after Sunday is what the world reads as “Christianity.” You don’t just represent your church ( you represent God’s credibility on earth.
God’s reputation in your city can rise or fall by your attitude.
